In all honesty there is only really one hotel in Cabrera which offers the full services expected of a hotel and that is the Hotel La Catalina.
Hotel La Catalina is a small intimate family owned and operated Boutique Hotel, perched on a lush green mountainside with breathtaking views of the ocean and coastline below. Located just outside of Cabrera in the peaceful and tranquil area of La Catalina; world class beaches and the Playa Grande Golf Course are just minutes away.
Built in 1988 by a French Canadian couple from Quebec, Hotel La Catalina was envisioned as a charming alternative to the country’s all-inclusive resorts. The original vision has remained intact, and Hotel La Catalina offers a unique, warm and personal experience. Breakfasts, lunches and dinners are available in the hotels dining room or on the open terraces with views over Cabrera and the Atlantic Ocean. That is not to say that there are no other hotels in Cabrera; however these tend to be Apart-Hotels or room-only hostels with no catering facilities offered. The Apart-Hotels, such as Azul Bravio located in Cabrera in C/Campo de Aviacion and overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, normally provide kitchen facilities along with bedroom and bathroom, air conditioning, hot water, cable T.V. and can be rented for short or longer term periods with the price depending on the length of stay.
There are several other similar Apart-Hotels to this within Cabrera town although the facilities and prices vary depending on what is available.
Room only hostels can also be found for very little cost but the facilities are basic with just a bedroom and bathroom, cold water and, if you are lucky a small working cable T.V.
There is a new hotel, The Hotel Capri, under construction in Cabrera’s main street C/ Duarte opposite the Chori-Pan restaurant but here again it seems that this will only offer rooms.
As far as Bed and breakfast accommodation is concerned really to our knowledge there are no facilities falling into this category in Cabrera.
