An ATV, in case you didn’t know, stands for All Terrain Vehicle which is a perfect description. Looking something like an over sized Beach Buggy these extremely
agile and fun vehicles will go everywhere your average saloon can’t and even some places where a 4 x 4 would find it difficult. This makes ATV rentals the ideal transport for a fun day out exploring some of the out off the way places, and back roads around Cabrera.
If you don’t know the Cabrera area particularly well your best option is to go on an organized trip with a guide who knows the best places to visit, sights to see and the way back home at the end of the trip. You can choose to visit some of the hidden beaches, not normally accessible, or venture into the surrounding hills to enjoy the views over the countryside and coast. This way you can be sure of having the best opportunity to discover just how versatile an ATV can be, as you drive over rough tracks, through streams and along paths you would probably never find on your own. We don’t however recommend using them as seen in this photo unless you really know what you are doing!
ATV’s are wide tired, squat vehicles and normally have just the one occupant, although it is possible to have a passenger as well, but in reality it is much more fun alone. Designed by the major motorcycle manufacturers they have a top speed of around 60 miles an hour and are equally at home on normal roads around Cabrera as on rough tracks. Wearing a crash helmet is obligatory as well as sensible shoes but other than that no other protective clothing is really necessary.
ATV rentals provides a very exciting and interesting day or half day excursion and if you are staying in one of Cabrera’s villas or an Hotel you can arrange the hire with the concierge or hotel reception.
